We all want a warranty that offers the best possible protection, that’s certainly what Warranties 2000 have always aimed to provide; pound for pound better coverage than our competitors. That why we’ve lasted over 40 years in the warranty business. As with all warranty providers though we have to set out in our terms and conditions a number of exclusions or limitations to our liability.
Age limits – these are common place however we will always honour the coverage provided and will not downgrade your cover mid contract if your car no longer qualifies for the original coverage.
Betterment – We only apply this where the vehicle operator will gain a direct benefit from the vehicle enjoying a better condition after repair than it did immediately prior to failure.
Claim Limit – We make it clear what our claim limit is and ensure this is made clear prior to the policy being purchased.
Consequential losses – We do always aim to assist with the full repair cost where possible but we won’t cover the cost of items which require replacement as a result of a consequential loss.
Excess – this is something we do apply, its either £50 or £75 but doesn’t change as the vehicles age and recorded mileage increases.
Garage choice – We try to ensure customers can always nominate their own repairer but we also offer where possible to make bookings with our network of repairers.
Mileage – None of our coverages have a mileage limit
Pre-existing faults – This is something we don’t cover. If you do have an issue with your car we recommend you get it resolved prior to purchasing a warranty so there can be no confusion.
Negligence – If you damage the vehicle through either reckless or negligent actions we can’t always guarantee you’ll receive assistance.
Wear and tear – typically we don’t cover parts that fail as the result of wear and tear but sometimes we can offer additional cover to add extra protection.
