Beasty barges: Lexus LS400

Disclaimer, you’ll struggle to pick one of these up for less than £5000. In fact you might struggle to pick up a decent example at all. In comparison to our previous Beasty Barges post looking at the BMW E39 the Lexus LS400 sold much fewer numbers.

No the less however this car is a beauty and if your budget will stretch there are examples of well kept cars in amazing condition. These cars are also fairly rapid, not but 90’s standards but actually reasonably quick by modern standards the gallop to 60 will take under 7 seconds and onto a top speed of 155.

Looking at the tech it exceeds expectations with a dashboard that’s buttons galore and miles away from big soulless touchscreens found in their modern counterparts.

For us the LS400 is part of a dying breed. An example of different done right. Capable of holding its own a defining luxury.
