Understanding Warranty Plans

For vehicle cover and warranty protection Warranties 2000 pride ourselves on delivery the best possible service at the best possible price. Like every other warranty company in the market place however not all of our coverages are comprehensive. So we wanted to share a quick summary of the details about what we offer.

Our most basic warranty offering is what we refer to as “Power Drive” cover this is our essential package and affords coverage to the internal mechanical components of the engine and transmission units. Its designed to align with the needs of motor vehicle dealers who want to provide a level of third party warranty protection but really want to deal with most of the problems that may arise in house or through their own network of repairs.

Like all warranty companies we have a range of mid level coverages designed to protect the most common vehicle faults. Generally speaking these cover the engine and gearbox units but also afford protection to the electrical items that most commonly fail; Starter Motor, Alternator, etc as well as Braking System, Steering, Cooling and Driveline.

At the top end of our product offering we have coverages that are designed to protect all mechanical and electrical components on the vehicle. These can be customised and often are to accommodate special category vehicles such as Motorhomes, LCV and for the needs of our prestige car dealers these can be requested with an uplift on the amounts claimable for labour and parts.

We also offer coverages specifically designed for Electric Vehicles. This offers cover for the items you don’t find on ICE vehicles. We also offer hybrid cover for the customer who wants the benefit of a comprehensive policy to cover all eventualities. None of our policies cover bodywork, paintwork, glass, trims, upholstery, serviceable items and items subject to periodic maintenance and replacement.
